Our opening idea.
- a year 9 late for school.
- as they reach school they realise assembly has started and he walks in the building and towards the assembly hall. He sees some blokes who have guns.
- the child hides and he see the guys walk into hall.
- child hears screams and gun shots.
- title
- 2 years later - child walks to school and see newspaper saying 'school reopened after shooting'.
- flash back after seeing name I newspaper- same name as the person interviewed him 2 years ago.
- as he reaches school and walks through the gates he see kids playin and screaming as they scream flash back of screaming kids.
Not sure that past part of this is clear.
