This thriller is about two psychopathic young men take a family hostage in their cabin.
This opening scene is very similar to what we wanted to create, with the driving somewhere and shoot from inside and out. We were also going to do talking over like this but instead we left it blank as it worked better.
As you can see with this titling scene its a strong colour which is red through out. Red is also know for danger and also that symbol of blood. I think that works well for a thriller, gives a good contrast with the green trees and surroundings too.
The titling is really simple and the letters are big bold text. I think not having a complicated swirl font works rather well as I don't think it would work as well as it wouldn't go with the type of film.
The title appears just after the music changes from opera to heavy metal and it just jumps out on screen.
I like the way it so simple and not complicated I think for our film we will keep to simple titles and credits. I also think we will go for a bold type to bring out our title more to make it stand out.
