180 degree rule!
The 180 degree rule is an invisible line between two people during a conversation, and it must not be crossed during filming. By staying on one side of the line it does not confuse the viewer and gives the film a natural flow of dialogue. It can only be broken if the camera view is shown crossing the line, although there are some film makers deliberately cross the line for a different effect. For example:
Stanley Kubrick 'The Shining' (the bathroom scene involving the Butler).
